Hello fellow APA members,
The 59th APA Annual Seminar schedule has been finalized and available to you on the APA Website under the seminar tab. I hope you will find plenty of great topics and presenters to get you excited for the time of learning, networking, and collaboration. The seminar venue is right in the heart of downtown San Diego which allows us to learn during the day and explore the food, history, and entertainment the city has to offer.
Registration for the conference and the hotel are both still available on the APA website. It can be found under the “training” tab. If you are attending and are NOT a member of the APA, you will need to fill out an additional registration form on the website under the same tab and registration tab.
We anticipate reaching full capacity as far as room reservations at the hotel perhaps as early as end of July so I would encourage you to book your room early and guarantee your ability to stay onsite and enjoy all the amenities that the hotel has to offer. Here is a link to reserve your room for the seminar; https://book.passkey.com/go/APAS2025
For those that have missed the announcement, we have moved the Sunday evening reception to Monday evening and extended the time. It will be from 6:00pm-10:00pm on the Indigo Terrace and in the Indigo foyer. The Sunday Night Reception is always a big hit and because of attendees missing it due to travel issues or arriving later, they’ve missed it. We also wanted to extend the reception another two hours to give everyone the extra time to reconnect and network with new colleagues. We will still have door prizes, and a photobooth to capture memories. This year we are keeping with a beach theme and are asking everyone to come dressed casual and comfortable. For attire, think shorts, flip flops and a tee shirt and you’ll fit right in!
I hope to see you in San Diego in August, but until then, please keep a lookout via email and social media for more information regarding the seminar and feel free to continue to pass along any suggestions, recommendations or insights you may have to help our seminar continue to be one of the greatest!
Should you have any questions or suggestions for this year’s seminar, please email me at interpointinvestigative@gmail.com
All the best,
Lisa Mooney
