Biography and Additional Professional Information
Cassandra Fleksher, MA is a Certified Polygraph Examiner, trained at the Academy for Scientific Investigative Training (ASIT) in Philadelphia. She holds a Masters Degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City, and achieved a dual Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice, along with a Minor in Sociology, from Alfred University. Ms. Fleksher has expertise in neuropsychological and personality assessments. She has conducted neuropsychological testing for Law Enforcement and Department of Corrections (DOC) candidates for the State of NJ. She has also done testing, along with identifying and assessing suicide risk, for inmates in county jail.
Ms. Fleksher has an avid interest in research which began when she did data collection for the study -"Earwitness Testimony: assessing the perception of auditory events". Since then, Ms. Fleksher has been involved in many research studies - examining the brain using neuropsychological testing. Cassandra did research in the Neuropsychology & Neuroscience Laboratory (NNL) and the Rehabilitation, Engineering & Analysis Laboratory (REAL), at the famed Kessler Institute. She has been published numerous times in journals such as The Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology and The Archives of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
Ms. Fleksher is an active member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the American Polygraph Association (APA), British & European Polygraph Association (BEPA), and the International Society of Polygraph Examiners (ISOPE). Cassandra is also appointed to the Forensic Science Consulting Committee for the American Investigative Society of Cold Cases (AISOCC).
