Biography and Additional Professional Information
Andrew is an accredited Polygraph Examiner. He trained in Arizona and Pennsylvania, USA his tutors were Laura Wells de Perry, Raymond Nelson and Nate Gordon. He is a member of the American Polygraph Association, the American National Polygraph Association and the British and European Polygraph Association
Before starting Forensic Vetting limited Andrew had continuous law enforcement experience of 33 years consisting of service with the West Midlands Police in the UK for 31 years and the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force in the West Indies for 2 years. He attained the rank of Chief Superintendent and Assistant Commissioner for Crime and Intelligence respectively.
A Detective officer for most of his career Andrew led numerous high profile, criminal investigations into homicide and serious crime, directing strategies and police operations across highly complex environments, with experience of national and international investigations. In the latter part of his career he played a key role in formulating strategic partnerships with external agencies and services. He was responsible for the successful delivery of major change management programmes, which included the restructuring and streamlining of intelligence systems and processes. He has worked closely with international and national intelligence services and has experience in combating international crime organisations and drug and firearm smuggling.
He possesses vast experience in organisational development and performance management. This includes the selection and recruitment of persons for sensitive posts. He has introduced organisational security vetting policies and operating protocols to identify and disrupt corrupt practices.
